Sometime around a plane crashed in Ocean County, a wildfire broke out. As of Sunday afternoon, Sept. 3, it remained unclear if the two were connected. The FAA said a single-engine Cirrus SR22 crashed in a wooded area in Toms River, New Jersey, around 2:30 a.m. Only the pilot was on board. A 17-year-old girl who wounded a teen with his own gun and accidentally killed another person over the summer was captured by members of the US Marshals Service in Philadelphia, authorities said. Fugitive Killed Himself When US Marshals Showed Up At His House, Officials Say
A Pennsylvania man wanted by police on aggravated assault charges killed himself when the US Marshals Service showed up at his door, authorities said. The body of 27-year-old Del Harvey was found inside a home on East High Street in Pottstown around 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 11, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark told Daily Voice. A Philadelphia area man was found with more than $20,000 worth of fentanyl in an undercover bust, authorities said. Naim Payton, 23, of Morrisville, was set to sell a large quantity of the uncut, highly lethal drug on Monday, April 25, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said. The New Hanover Township Police Department has a real-life grinch on its hands (scroll for video). The thief was caught stealing packages and holiday decor in the Hanover Pointe development off Route 663, in Pottstown, police said in a Facebook post Dec. 2. Home surveillance tapes captured the suspect, a white male possibly in his 20s driving a white Ford F-250 pickup truck, police said. The thief is seen stealing a wreath and small tree from the home.
