Former Atlantic County Elections Official Sentenced For Improper Worker Payments A former Atlantic County elections official is sentenced after pleading guilty to a kickback scheme nearly seven years ago, authorities said. Michael Gibbons, 38, of Glendora was sentenced on Friday, Jan. 12 to four years probation, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced on Monday, Jan. 22. The conditions of Gibbons' probation require him to spend 364 days in Atlantic County Jail, which can be served by day reporting.
