Atlantic City Man Pleads Guilty To Drug, Handgun Charges A 27-year-old man from Atlantic City has admitted to possessing a handgun and dealing marijuana, authorities said. On Thursday, June 22, Divier Silva pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun and one count of third-degree possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. The plea agreement calls for a sentence of five years in New Jersey State Prison, with one year of parole ineligibility. Silva is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 3.

At 6:33 p.m. on Saturday, Atlantic City Police Officer Danish Mohammad came upon a two-car motor vehicle crash at Mississippi and Arctic Avenues.
