A 49-year-old Jersey Shore has been indicted in connection with a drunken driving crash that hospitalized another motorist last fall, authorities said. William Andujar of the Whiting section of the Manchester Township was indicted by a county grand jury on Thursday for seriously injuring a driver from South Toms River after rear-ending her car, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Ocean County Man Gets 5 Years State Prison For Toms River DWI 'Death By Auto'
A 56-year-old man from Jackson has been sentenced to five years in state prison in. connection with a fatal DWI crash in Toms RIver, authorities said. Douglas Thompson was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan on Monday, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, as a result of a previously entered guilty plea to death by auto. Ryan also ordered that Thompson’s driving privileges be suspended for life. A 56-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has admitted to fatally rear-ending another motorist from Toms River in an alcohol-related crash, authorities said. Douglas Thompson of Jackson, pleaded guilty to death by auto on Thursday, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Thompson entered his plea before Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan. Prosecutor: Little Egg Harbor Man, 26, Charged With 'Assault By Auto' After High-Speed Crash
A 26-year-old driver from Little Egg Harbor has been charged in connection with a head-on, three-car crash in late July, authorities said. Hunter Dyer was charged with two counts of "assault by auto" after turning himself on Thursday at the Stafford Township Police Headquarters, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
