The bicycle was seen on its side on the road's shoulder behind the unmarked black Ford Explorer that hit it on Willow Grove Street (Route 604) outside the Hackettstown Senior Housing Development off Brook Hollow Drive an hour before sunrise on Monday, Feb. 5. At 7:03 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of Willow Grove Street to a report of a teen bicyclist struck by a deer, officers said.  Police determined the deer ran into the roadway and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound, officers said. Bicyclist In Camden County Assault Dies A bicyclist assaulted in a Camden County attack died nearly two weeks after the incident, authorities announced. An unknown male hit Edward Dupont, 53, of Camden, on the head, causing him to fall off his bike and hit his head on the pavement at 7th and Pine streets on July 6, around 9:10 a.m., acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. The bicyclist was heading north on Branin Road when they were struck by a northbound vehicle near Charville Road in Medford around 10 p.m., local police said.
