Man Accused Of Stealing Acme Markets Cash Register Arrested: Police A Delaware man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a cash register from ACME Markets, authorities said. On July 15, Brigantine police asked for the public's help identifying a vehicle allegedly used by a suspect in the theft. On Wednesday, Aug. 3, Logan J. Dunn of Camden-Wyoming, Delaware was arrested and charged with theft of movable property, police said. Charges brought against Dunn allege that on July 13, he entered an outdoor point of sale area at ACME Markets and stole a cash register containing currency.  Dunn was released on a summons pending a first appearance …

NJ Acme Market Store To Shutter: Report Another one bites the dust: ACME Markets will be closing yet another New Jersey store, NJ Advance Media reports. The Bound Brook Road store in Middlesex will close on Feb. 3, the outlet reports. Calls placed by NJ.com to the store were not answered and a reason for the closure was not provided. Man Struck By Car Outside NJ Supermarket Settles For $1.28 Million UPDATE: A Hackensack man who suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was hit by a car in a supermarket parking lot in Saddle Brook reportedly received a $1.275 million settlement from a lawsuit. Richard Kunzweiler was 75 when he was struck by a car driven by a 66-year-old Fair Lawn man outside the Acme in Saddle Brook on Aug. 16, 2018, records show. Central Bucks PD: Philly Fugitive Stole Shopper's Wallet A 44-year-old fugitive from Philadelphia has been arrested for stealing a wallet from a shopper in a Bucks County supermarket, authorities said. Djemba A. Goldwire was arrested after a theft at Acme Markets in Doylestown Borough, according to Central Bucks Regional Police Department. According to a police report, Goldwire distracted the victim and stole a wallet from her purse, police said. Police searched the area for Goldwire and found her near Chipolte on North Main Street, they said.
