Driver Killed, Others Injured In Overnight Baltimore Crash: Police A 37-year-old man was killed in an overnight crash in Baltimore, police confirmed. Western District officers responded to the two-vehicle crash near the 1800 block of Edmondson Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. Multiple victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, among them a 37-year-old SUV driver who was later pronounced dead. The investigation is being led by Crash Team detectives.

Driver Struck By Stolen Vehicle During High-Speed Pursuit Killed In Baltimore, Police Say A driver fleeing from Baltimore Police left a crash victim with fatal injuries on Monday evening, authorities said. A Baltimore police aerial unit reportedly observed a car with stolen tags heading through the Western District around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, leading to a deadly series of events. Officers nearby attempted to stop the car, police said, which then sped off down the 2700 block of West Franklin Street before striking another vehicle.  Both vehicles came to a stop, and three men were seen running from the suspect vehicle, two of whom were arrested, according to investigators. …

Man Directing Vehicle Fatally Run Over At Baltimore Gas Station A 58-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle he was directing early Wednesday morning, Dec. 27 in Baltimore, police said. The man was directing the vehicle to back up closer to the pumps in the gas station lot near The Alameda around 4:20 a.m., when he was struck by the 31-year-old driver, police said. The Exxon station is located at Walters Avenue and The Alameda, where police say the crash occurred. The 31-year-old driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.  Crash Team detectives are investigating this incident.

Woman Dies In Baltimore Hit-Run Crash A 65-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run crash in Baltimore Wednesday, July 6, authorities said. The victim was crossing on the 2000 block of North Broadway with a walker when she was struck around 2:50 p.m. city police said.  She was unresponsive when police arrived and taken to John’s Hopkins Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The vehicle fled the area southbound on North Broadway. C.R.A.S.H. Team investigators have assumed control over the investigation. Man Trapped Under Car In Baltimore Dies A 71-year-old died after he was struck by a car and became trapped underneath it Thursday, June 9 in Baltimore, police said. The 37-year-old driver remained at the scene — the intersection at Pennsylvania Avenue and Mosher Street — after the 4:45 p.m. incident, according to city police. The pedestrian was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance, and was pronounced dead by medical personnel a short time later.
