Repeat Killer Found Guilty Of Maryland Murder During Smartphone Sale: State's Attorney
A Brooklyn man already serving a life sentence for a 2023 murder has been convicted in a second killing, this time for fatally shooting a 29-year-old man during a fake smartphone sale in Annapolis.
Jaden Crowner, 20, was found guilty Friday, Dec. 6, of first-degree murder, carrying a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, and other handgun offenses following a four-day trial in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court, officials said.
He faces sentencing on April 30, 2025.

A pair of teenage siblings were arrested in connection to an armed robbery in Brooklyn, authorities say.
The brother and sister, both 16-years-old, were connected to the crime, with the brother being arrested on Thursday, Dec. 1, with the assistance of School Resource Officers after being identified in connection to the robbery of a citizen on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The sister was arrested several hours before, around 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, after reportedly additionally robbing a business, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Four Suspects Chased Down, Arrested After Firing Shots In Severn: Police
Four suspects, including a teenager, have been arrested for leading a police chase in a stolen vehicle after allegedly firing multiple shots in Severn, authorities said.
The suspects are 24-year-old Daron Savoy, of Brooklyn, 22-year-old Deonta Smith, of Annapolis, 18-year-old Keharee Sellers, also of Brooklyn, and 16-year-old Anthony Moore, also of Annapolis, who is being charged as an adult.

Stolen DC Vehicle Recovered In Pasadena Months After Reported Missing: Police
A vehicle that was stolen out of Washington DC last year has been recovered in Pasadena, authorities said.
Lashae Parker, 26, of Glen Burnie, and Dyandre Owens, 23, of Brooklyn, were found driving the stolen Toyota around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, Anne Arundel County Police said. The vehicle was reported missing to DC Metro Police on August 28, 2021, police said.
Both suspects were arrested and charged accordingly, police said. One person already had an outstanding warrant for their arrest through Baltimore City, police added.
