Man Airlifted To Maryland Hospital After Being Stabbed In Face, Police Say
An early morning altercation left a man with multiple lacerations to his face in Anne Arundel County, police say.
At approximately 3 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, members of the Annapolis Police Department were called to the area of Winslow Court to investigate a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers were met by a man who was "bleeding heavily from his face," and he had several reported lacerations.
According to police, the man was flown to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation of his injuries, while detectives assumed the investigation.

An Anne Arundel County man was sentenced to eight years behind bars for fentanyl possession and distribution, authorities announced Thursday, May 14.
Orlando Ray Coleman, Sr., 44, of Millersville, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute fentanyl, US Attorney for the District of Maryland Erek L. Barron said in a joint release.

Five handguns, a loaded magazine and drugs were seized in a pair of Annapolis shootings that resulted in four arrests, authorities said.
Nelson Pston, 19, was arrested several vehicles were damaged by gunfire on the 700 block of Newtowne Drive around 12:25 p.m. on Feb. 17, city police said.
