ShopRite Shoplifters Arrested In Separate Lyndhurst Incidents, Police Say
Two Bergen County residents were arrested in separate shoplifting incidents at a local ShopRite, police said.
The first incident at the ShopRite store in Lyndhurst occurred on Wednesday, Dec.18, around 4 p.m., when Frank Giuffrida, 49, was seen by store loss prevention staff placing multiple items from his shopping cart into his backpack, Detective Lt. Vincent Auteri said. He then headed to the self-checkout register, where he failed to scan several items before leaving the store, police said.

A lucky New Jersey Lottery player scored $2 million in the Christmas Powerball drawing, matching five white balls and the multiplier, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers from the Wednesday, Dec. 25 drawing were 15, 26, 27, 30, 35, with the Powerball 03 and Power Play 3X. The winning ticket was sold by Jackpot.com, a Middlesex County-based courier.
