Additional details have been released by the Prince George's County Police Department after a dump truck driver died at the hospital following a crash in Brandywine. Prince Frederick resident Frederick Hand, 76, has been identified by investigators as the driver involved in a fatal single-vehicle crash early on Monday afternoon. Some motorists were held up on Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery County when a dump truck overturned and spilled debris into a busy roadway. An investigation has been launched following a triple fatal crash involving a senior-living assisted living facility bus and dump truck in Charles County, state police say. Shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday morning, police say the bus was heading west on Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy, when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and struck the dump truck, which was heading east, head-on. A pedestrian was killed in a crash involving a dump truck in Charles County on Wednesday afternoon. Members of the sheriff's office responded to a stretch of Middletown Road before 5 p.m. on Sept. 4, where there was a reported fatal crash in Waldorf. There was a fatal pedestrian crash in a work zone along I-95 in Harford County on Tuesday morning, state police say.
