Resort Worker Killed By Snowmobile In Berkshires, Officials Say The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit is investigating an apparent accidental death at a Western Massachusetts resort.  According to Andrew McKeever, of the Berkshires District Attorney's Office, detectives responded to the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock on Tuesday, Jan. 4, following a snow groomer and a snowmobile collision. Kimberlee Francoeur, 30, of Lanesborough, died after the snow groomer operator backed into the snowmobile she was operating, McKeever said. A High Wind Warning is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday, March 29. As of around 10:30 a.m. on Monday, utility crews from Eversource were still working to repair dozens of outages that were impacting 2,766 of the company’s 220,386 customers in Western Massachusetts. An additional 71 customers were impacted in Central and Eastern Massachusetts, according to the company.
