26-Year-Old Worcester Man Killed In Crash In Region
Connecticut State Police are asking for any witnesses to a single-car crash that killed a man on I-95 in Fairfield County. The crash took place in Stamford around 12:25 a.m., Thursday, June 1, on I-95 northbound in the area of Exit 8. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2017 Nissan Rouge driven by Massachusetts resident Emmanuel Pierre, age 26, of Worcester left its lane of travel for an unknown reason and struck the metal beam guard rail in the right shoulder approximately a quarter of a mile north of Exit 8, state police said.
