All business restrictions put in place to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in Connecticut during the pandemic were lifted as of Wednesday, May 19, including social distance requirements, and curfews for businesses. Additionally, all limits on gathering sizes have been lifted and movie theater capacity is back to 100 percent. Covid-19: Starting Today, More People Allowed Inside Restaurants, Gyms, Shops Massachusetts is loosening capacity restrictions at restaurants, gyms, retail shops, and more starting today. On Monday, Feb. 8, at 5 a.m., Massachusetts emergency occupancy limits meant to stem the spread of COVID-19 change.
