Victim Of Boston Shooting Daniel Sanders Was 'Such A Blessing,' Friends Say

Friends and family are mourning the death of a 36-year-old Dorchester man who was killed in a Boston shooting this past weekend.

Daniel "Danny" Sanders was fatally shot in the area of 39 Baird Street in Dorchester around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, as previously reported by Daily Voice

Sanders was the first victim of three separate fatal shootings that happened in Boston over the weekend. Loved ones started posting about Sanders hours after his death. 

"Woke up to the news that you were no longer with us..my heart couldn't take it," one Facebook user said. "I love you cuzzin (Lil Danny) 🥺🥺😢😢 We will truly miss you 💔💔 prayers to my Sanders family!" 

"I have no words," another Facebook user said. "Danny you were such a blessing, the prince of your family. You may be absent in body but your spirit will live forever." 

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with Sander's death and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Boston Police at (617) 343-4470.
