Skeletal Remains Found In Saugus Woods
Police are investigating after human remains were found by someone walking their dog in Saugus Sunday morning, Feb. 18. The discovery happened in the woods off David Drive just before 10 a.m. The skeletal remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine how they died and to identify them. Police say they do not believe there is any risk to the public. The Essex County District Attorney's Office did not release any other information about the discovery.

Man's Body Pulled From Charles River In Boston
Police dive teams pulled a man's body from the Charles River in Boston on Monday afternoon, Feb. 12, authorities announced. Witnesses said they saw a man struggling to keep his head above water around 11:30 a.m. near the Longfellow Bridge. But no one was able to save him. Needham police are asking anyone who shopped at Sudbury Farms grocery store between Dec. 16 and Christmas Eve to monitor their credit and debit card balances after a skimming device was found on a self-checkout lane.
