Driver Charged In Waltham Bus Crash That Killed Brandeis Student: DA Nearly a year after a bus crash killed a 25-year-old Brandeis University student, the driver is being charged with her death in Middlesex County, authorities announced Friday, Nov. 3.  Jean Fenelon, 58, of Boston, is charged with motor vehicle homicide and speeding in connection with the fatal bus crash on Nov. 19, 2022, in Waltham, the Middlesex District Attorney said. (Breaking) MBTA Bus Crashes With Car In Malden: Police An MBTA bus crashed with a car near Main and Winter Streets in Malden on Thursday morning, Aug. 31, according to MBTA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan. Some social media users reported hearing helicopters near Oak Grove.  No one was injured in the crash, authorities said. Vigil Planned For 'Cherished' Brandeis Student, 25, Killed In Waltham Bus Crash As police in Waltham investigate the crash that killed a 25-year-old Brandeis undergraduate student and injured 27 others, the university is grappling with its loss.  Vanessa Mark died Saturday night, Nov. 19, while returning from a hockey game at Northwestern University after the shuttle bus she was riding in slammed into a tree on South Street just after 10:30 p.m.  Brandie University will hold a vigil on Monday at 7 p.m. at Harlan Chapel for Mark. Brandeis University Student Killed, Dozens Injured In Waltham Shuttle Bus Crash One student from Brandeis University is dead and dozens more are injured following a shuttle bus crash in Waltham over the weekend, authorities said. The bus was carrying 30 students when it crashed into a tree on South Street in Waltham around 10:32 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports.  The bus was performing a routine route from the Boston and Cambridge area, with one of the stops being a hockey game at Northeastern University, the office continued.  One student, identified as 25-year-old undergraduate Vanessa Mark, was pronounced dead.
