Frank P. O’Toole of Middlesborough was indicted recently on two counts of possession or sale of a stolen firearm after police arrested him on Aug. 12, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Federal officials said that while O'Toole worked as a FedEx delivery driver from October 2021 until June, he swiped three packages he was supposed to deliver. Each of them was from known federal firearm dealers and had guns inside. On Aug. 9 and Aug. 12, O'Toole sold those guns to an undercover agent, the charging document said. Police didn't say what kind of firearms they were.

O'Toole faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if found guilty, authorities said.
