3rd-Generation Revere Firefighter Dies At 35: 'Vibrant Spirit,' 'Infectious Smile' The Revere Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its brothers after beloved firefighter Steve Ferrante Jr. died last week. He was just 35 years old.  It's unclear what caused his death on Oct. 4, but the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts listed it as an "active duty death." Estranged Husband Killed Wife As She Sat In Her Car In Everett Driveway: Jury A 58-year-old Peabody man was convicted Tuesday, Aug. 8, of gunning down his estranged wife a month after she requested a divorce in 2018, authorities announced.  Emilio Matarazzo was found guilty of first-degree murder in the slaying of Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo following a 16-day trial in Middlesex County, the Middlesex District Attorney said. A judge will sentence him on Thursday.  Ersilia was sitting in her car in her parents' driveway in Everett on the morning of Dec. 19, 2018, when her soon-to-be ex-husband ambushed her and shot her in the chest with a Beretta .12-gauge…
