93-Year-Old Killed Riding Tricycle In Crash Near Merrimac Home Authorities have identified a 93-year-old Massachusetts man killed in a fatal crash  late Saturday afternoon, July 1.  Robert Whitcomb of Merrimac was struck by a car while riding a tricycle near his home on Bartlett Street just after 5 p.m., Merrimac Police said. Paramedics rushed him to Portsmouth Hospital, but doctors couldn't save his life.  The teenage driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, authorities said.  Merrimac Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Three Jump To Safety After Yacht Bursts Into Flames In New Hampshire Three people, including a man and woman from Connecticut,  jumped to safety after a 70-foot yacht caught fire and burned in New Hampshire. The incident happened around 4 p.m. Saturday, June 18 on the Piscataqua River, near Little Harbor, about 60 miles north of Boston.
