Just in time for national burger day on May 28, Yelp released its list of top 100 burgers in the US, and a Massachusetts eatery made the cut. Yelp's list features bigger-than-ever burgers, fusion-style burgers, and some burgers that barely warrant the name (the number 13 restaurant serves up burgers in tortillas), but Veggie Galaxy in Cambridge offers up traditional diner comfort food - albeit with one major twist. Fentanyl Found On U-Haul Driver Who Crashed Into Tree In Cambridge: Police
A 27-year-old Brookline man appeared to be moving more than just his personal belongings when police arrested him for crashing his U-Haul in Cambridge this week, according to authorities. Alejandro Trigo is facing several charges after officers found him in possession of fentanyl and a ghost gun after he crashed his van into a light pole and tree on Rindge Avenue, Cambridge Police report. Video Released Of Sexual Assault Suspect Running Rampant Around Cambridge
Cambridge Police have released new surveillance video of a suspect they say is behind three sexual assaults in the city this year and are asking the public to help identify him. The suspect – described as possibly a Hispanic male standing between 5'3" and 5'8," with a medium build – is believed to be involved in the attacks that happened in three separate months. A Boston man on parole for two 2017 bank robberies was indicted this week with robbing a Cambridge bank earlier this year, authorities said. Jalonni Shabazz, 40, of Jamaica Plain, was linked to the May 2 robbery of the TD Bank branch at Harvard Square after police found his DNA on a Brooklyn Dodgers hat the robber wore discarded near the scene, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said on Friday, Oct. 7. A box truck hit and killed a 29-year-old pedestrian as he crossed through a parking lot in Cambridge earlier this week, authorities said. Matthew Barker was in a lot off State Street near Massachusetts Avenue Thursday night, Sept. 1, around 8:30 when a box truck for a local restaurant crashed into him, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced on Friday. Three people are in the hospital and a building has significant damage after an Uber driver drove into a bank in a popular square just outside of Boston, authorities said. Police responded to a crash in Porter Square area in Cambridge around 11:11 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, Cambridge Police said. Boston Man Indicted For Bank Robbery
A Massachusetts man with a lengthy rap sheet is facing more time in prison after being busted for an alleged bank robbery in Cambridge, federal prosecutors announced. Boston resident Jamaal Copeland, age 49, was indicted by a federal grand jury in connection to the robbery of a TD bank branch in the region.
