Worcester DA Honors Lunenburg Police Officer Who Saved Man From Pitbull Attack The Lunenburg police officer who saved a 75-year-old man from certain death after a dog attacked him for no reason earlier this year was honored for his bravery and quick thinking.  Wayne Comeau was at the Lunenburg Animal Control office when one of the dogs attacked him. Comeau's wife is the town's animal control officer. Pair Of Fatal Crashes Under Investigation In Eastern Massachusetts State police are investigating multiple fatal crashes that happened over the weekend in eastern Massachusetts.  Damiah Bosden-Wigfall, 26, died in a fiery crash on Friday, July 23, just after 2 a.m. in Avon, when her 2015 Hyundai slammed into a dump truck and burst into flames, Massachusetts State Police said.  A 27-year-old woman from Randolph was able to climb out of the car.
