Woman Killed In West Springfield Crash After Hitting House, Police Say A woman was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Western Massachusetts after failing to stop for a stop sign and crashing into a home. The crash took place around 9:30 p.m., Sunday, July 25 in Hampden County at the intersection of Westfield Street and Summit Street in West Springfield. According to police, the woman, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, was traveling north on Summit Street and failed to stop for the stop sign, said the West Springfield Police. The car travelled across four lanes on Westfield Street and then struck the corner of a brick multi-family home. …

On Thursday, Jan. 28, West Springfield Police arrested Nathan “Nate” J. Marrin, formerly of West Springfield, for an alleged assault and robbery the prior day.
