Multiple Injuries Reported After Drag Racing Incident In West Springfield A crash involving a car allegedly drag racing along a busy roadway left several people injured in Western Massachusetts.  The crash took place around 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 19 when the vehicle's driver lost control and slammed into the Avis/Budget Car Rental building on Riverdale Street in West Springfield, said authorities.
