A wanted woman evaded multiple police traps, drove on a flat tire, and ran several red lights before she crashed into cars and a motorcycle in Worcester County earlier this week, authorities said.
Latihfa Morgan-Day, 27, of Webster in Worcester County, faces several charges, and more could be on the way following her alleged Tuesday, July 11, escape attempt, Webster police said.

Fire Destroys Home, Kills Pets: Central Mass Family Asks For Help Rebuilding Their Lives
A Uxbridge woman hopes the public will help her rebuild after her family lost everything in a fire on Monday, May 29.
Brianna Watson created a GoFundMe to help replace some of the items lost in the fire, including nearly all of the toys and things that belonged to her three young boys — ages 6, 4, and 1, according to her fundraiser.
So far, the campaign has raised just over $12,000 of its $20,000 goal from more than 150 donors.
Luckily, the family wasn't home when the fire started, she wrote.

The number of COVID-19 “red” communities has tripled in Central and Western Massachusetts since last week, according to the most recent state data, Thursday, Nov. 12.
Last week, Nov. 6, there were 3 - Fitchburg, Ludlow, and Springfield.
Now there are 9 - Chicopee, Clinton, Fitchburg, Holyoke, Leominster, Milford, Springfield, Uxbridge, and West Springfield.
In a bit of good news, the COVID-19 rate in Ludlow dropped low enough to get the city removed from the red list.
However, the rates in Fitchburg and Springfield went up.

Is The Drought Over Yet? Southern Part Of State Drier Than The Rest
The downpour that soaked the region on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 29-30, deposited 1.5-2 inches of rain, but still, much of southern Massachusetts is experiencing extreme drought.
According to state data released Thursday, Oct.1, nearly 30 percent of the state is experiencing “extreme” drought - the second highest degree of drought tracked by the state. The worst degree of drought is “exceptional.”
The ranking goes, from least to most drought-like conditions, are None, Abnormallly Dry, Moderate Drought, Severe Drought, Extreme Drought, and Exceptional Drought.

Worcester, Hampshire County Accountant Accused Of Stealing $700K From Towns
A former town accountant for Hadley, Hatfield, and Uxbridge has been charged with stealing more than $700,000 from Massachusetts municipalities.
Justin Cole, 38, allegedly stole from Uxbridge, Millville, and Monterey (in Berkshire County), according to the Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey.
Cole was the Hadley and Hatfield town accountant as recently as 2019 when Cole announced he was closing his business, Bay State Municipal Accounting Group, to focus on his family and health.
