Nunez, 47, faces more than half a dozen charges stemming from a Nov. 25 shooting, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Hartford resident Maico Turell, age 49, was sentenced to 30 months, or 2.5 years, behind bars Tuesday, May 24, in federal court in Hartford. Undercover police busted Turell in December 2020 when he sold them “distribution quantities” of heroin and fentanyl on two seperate occasions at his Franklin Avenue home, according to the US Attorney’s Office in Connecticut. Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Western Mass Shooting Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a Western Massachusetts man. The shooting of the 39-year-old man took place around 11 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Hampshire County in Northampton. The victim, who has not been identified, was transported to Baystate Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, said Northampton District Attorney’s Office Spokesperson Laurie Loisel. Nerkin Morales, 24, of Northampton, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Sept. 15, to voluntary manslaughter, improper disposition of a body, burning personal property, intimidation of a witness, withholding evidence from a criminal proceeding, two counts of conspiracy, and unlawful possession of a firearm, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
