New York resident Christopher Thomas, age 40, of Colonie in Albany County, was sentenced to 40 years behind bars Monday, Oct. 30, in Albany federal court. According to prosecutors, Thomas coerced numerous vulnerable children and young women, some as young as 16, to engage in sex work for his financial benefit between 2018 and 2020. NJ Man Sentenced For Trying To Buy Sexual Photos From MA 12-Year-Old Girl: Police A 25-year-old New Jersey man was sentenced to time behind bars for trying to purchase sexual images from a 12-year-old Massachusetts girl, authorities said. Nicholas D. Coffin, of West Deptford, NJ, was sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison and must serve five years before he's eligible for parole, Swansea Police Chief Marc Haslam said.  Coffin is also under a no-contact order, subject parole supervision for life, Megan’s Law restriction, must pay restitution to victims, and is subject to fines. Man Used Snapchat to 'Blackmail' Massachusetts Teen To Perform Sex Acts With Dog: Feds Federal authorities arrested a 33-year-old Chicago man after he bullied a 16-year-old Massachusetts girl into sending him nude selfies and videos and to perform a sex act with her dog, prosecutors said.  Ernesto Herrera was arrested and charged with coercion and enticement of a minor, the Department of Justice said on Tuesday, July 26.
