There were 379 new COVID-19 infections reported in the Pioneer Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 22, according to the most recent state data. On that same date, there were 5 COVID-19-related deaths in the three counties. Among the Pioneer Valley counties, Hampden is the most populated and has experienced the most incidents and deaths.
