The driver hit another car into the median, caused heavy damage and seriously injured the 61-year-old female driver from Longmeadow, State Police report. Holyoke Man Driving Recklessly Injures Deputy, Police Say A Western Massachusetts man has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after injuring a sheriff's deputy while driving recklessly. The incident took place in Hampden County in Springfield around 11:45 a.m., Thursday, June 9.
