Man From Region Sexually Assaults 15-Year-Old Girl, Police Say A 10-month investigation has led to the arrest of a Connecticut man who police say had sexual contact with a teen girl. On Wednesday, Sept. 6, Connecticut State Police announced the arrest of Litchfield County man Jack Lemay, age 20, of Salisbury, for inappropriate contact with the girl. Dead Deer Reported In Region, 3 Test Positive For Hemorrhagic Disease, Officials Say State officials announced that three white-tailed deer tested positive for hemorrhagic disease, as dead deer have been found across multiple towns in Connecticut.  The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) announced on Wednesday, Sept. 28, that the first positive case this year came from a deer found in the Litchfield County town of Goshen. Troopers in Litchfield County responded to a crash on North Street in Goshen at about 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, according to Connecticut State Police Police said a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Premium was traveling north on Route 63 and was making a left onto the driveway of 161 North St. when a 2009 Honda CBR1000RR ABS motorcycle struck the rear of the Subaru. Suspect Nabbed In Sex Assault Case In Region, Police Say A 22-year-old man in Connecticut is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a teen, State Police announced. Torrington resident Jacob Joseph Haag, of Litchfield County, was arrested by Connecticut State Police investigators following an investigation into alleged sexual assault.
