Woman Found Dead Inside Her Apartment In Region With 'Signs Of Trauma'
Police are investigating the murder of a Connecticut woman found inside her apartment with obvious signs of trauma.
Catherine Hays, age 53, of Hartford, was found around 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 25, after police responded to a possible medical call.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, patrol officers, along with EMS responded to an apartment at 93 Spring St. on a possible medical call. Upon arrival, Hays was located dead with obvious signs of trauma.
There was also evidence of a shooting on the scene, Boisvert said.
