Police Praise Business Owner Who Thwarted Alleged Car Breaking-And-Entering Police are praising the quick actions of a local store owner who stopped an alleged motor vehicle breaking and entering. On Thursday, Jan. 22, around 10 a.m. police received a report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle parked in the area of Diamond Nail, 325 Front St. in Chicopee. A local businesswoman allegedly saw a man enter a motor vehicle that belonged to one of her customers. She reported the suspicious activity and provided a description of the man to the police. The officers searched the area and found arrested a suspect who allegedly attempted to flee, police said.…
