17-Year-Old Boy Killed In Bicycle Crash In Central Massachusetts: Police A 17-year-old boy was killed in a bicycle-involved crash over the weekend in Webster, authorities said.  Police responded to a report of a car versus bicyclist in the area of 21 First Street in Webster around just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, Webster Police said.  Upon arrival, officer found the teenager "obvious injuries to his head" lying on the ground. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Police did not say if he was wearing a helmet.  The victim's identity has not been released due to his age. The incident remains under investigation.

Community In Massachusetts Pours One Out For Popular Local 'Can Man Joe' Joseph Bottis, better known as “Can Man Joe," had a big reputation in his community in Worcester County.  The 39-year-old from Webster spent his days collecting cans and talking with the local community, according to his obituary.   "Joe loved Webster very much," his brother Jacob Luckhart said in a GoFundMe campaign.
