$100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Peabody Two Bay Staters had a very lucky Thursday, June 6, when they collected $100,000 checks for playing the Massachusetts State Lottery.  Both winners correctly guessed all five numbers in the Mass Cash drawing. Those were: 3, 10, 15, 16, 21.  The winners' names were not released.  The winning tickets were sold at Andy's Walnut Mart at 36 Walnut St. in Peabody and Country Convenience at 216 S Main St. in Athol.  The stores will receive a $1,000 bonus for the sale.  There were 579 winners who collected $600 or more in the state lotter…

Sinkhole Shuts Down Caller Street In Peabody: Police Caller Street in Peabody was closed from Main Street to Walnut Street because of a sink hole, Peabody Police said on Wednesday, Jan. 4 on Twitter. 🚨 Caller St is closed from Main St to Walnut St due to a sink hole. 🚨 Please avoid the area. — Peabody Police (@PeabodyPolice) January 4, 2023 Police said officers were at the scene and that the Department of Public Service was responding as well. There was no impact to traffic and police did not say how large the hole was.
