'Such Beautiful Smile': Teen Who Drowned Near Shannon Beach Remembered For His Compassion Loved ones of the 17-year-old boy who drowned over the weekend while swimming with friends at Upper Mystic Lakes say he was hard-working, kind, and helpful.  Luis Tejeda, 17, of Lynn, was found by divers around 7 p.m. near Shannon Beach.  Luis was swimming with a group of friends about 100 yards offshore and outside the swim zone, state police said.
