A 70-year-old died while walking near Wellesley College on Wednesday morning, Dec. 27. Silas Logan was found unresponsive by officers who arrived at a slightly wooded area on Central Street near Weston Road shortly after 9 a.m., the Essex District Attorney’s Office told MassLive. A person who reported the incident was performing CPR when officers responded to the scene and took over lifesaving measures, Wellesley police said. 86-Year-Old Man Hit, Killed While Riding His Bike In Quincy ID'd
Police in Quincy have identified the 86-year-old man who died after being hit while riding his bike on Friday, Sept. 8. Li Dain Wu, of Quincy, was struck around 11:15 a.m. near 478 Southern Artery in the Roxie parking lot. Paramedics arrived and rushed him to South Shore Hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead, Quincy police said. 'Mass Casualty': 2 Airlifted After Serious Head-On Crash In Western Mass
Two helicopters were needed to transport victims of a serious head-on car crash in Western Massachusetts this weekend, authorities said. Greenfield Fire responded to the crash on the Mohawk Trail near Long View Tower around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March, 12, the department said on Facebook. A 56-year-old woman from Wellesley has been sentenced to six months in jail for hitting and killing two teenage girls from Needham with her car more than four years ago, authorities said. A 26-year-old Salisbury woman who admitted to sexually exploiting a baby she was taking care of and sharing the photos online will spend the next 17 years in prison, authorities said.
