Man Admits To 2020 Rape Of Girl, 13, After Breaking Into Her Cambridge Home: DA
A Cambridge man has confessed to the violent rape of a 13-year-old girl more than 23 years ago, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Roger W. Reddick, Jr., 41, pleaded guilty to three counts of rape of a child with force and was sentenced to 10 to 12 years in prison, the Middlesex District Attorney announced. He'll serve three years of probation following that.

A former youth pastor from New Hampshire who admitted to raping two boys and a young man was sentenced to four years behind bars, authorities said.
Russell Davis, 70, formerly of Newbury, pleaded guilty to rape of a child under 16 — among other felonies on Thursday, Feb. 23, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. A Level 3 sex offender from Massachusetts will be charged as a fugitive after he was arrested on rape charged in Maine this week, authorities said.
John Bastian, age 64, of Lynn, was wanted on several charges including indecent assault and battery on person with intellectual disability, enticement of a child under 16, and rape of a child with force, the US Marshals Service reports.

Boston Man Told Pregnant Woman To 'Go Freshen Up' After Beating Her, Infant
A Boston man is awaiting a dangerousness hearing after he was charged with beating a pregnant woman and assaulting an infant, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said.
Marvin De La Cruz, age 23, attacked and strangled the woman, who is two months pregnant, while she was sleeping in her bedroom in Dorchester on Saturday, June 25, the office reports.
De La Cruz apparently punched the woman in the head, dragged her to the ground by her hair, and kicked her in the stomach, the office reports. He then proceeded to strangle her until she lost consciousness.
