At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, a Dodge Durango was driving on US Route 301 near MD Route 234 when the driver struck an embankment and overturned the truck, state police say. A medivac pilot proved that on Wednesday, July 6, after they landed a helicopter on Interstate 395 to rescue a police officer.  Park police requested the helicopter to rescue a motorcycle officer who'd crashed on Maine Avenue, WJLA said.
