UMD Football Stadium No Longer Known As Capital One Field After $11M Partnership Announced University of Maryland's Capital One Field football stadium will have a new name this season after a partnership was announced with state-chartered credit union, SECU, announced the school. The credit union will pay Maryland Athletics $11 million for the 10-year partnership, including a $2.5 million gift supporting programs and facilities that will go toward the construction of a basketball performance center.
