Deale Driver Killed In Exit Ramp Crash May Have Had Medical Emergency, Police Say Howard County Police have identified the Deale man killed in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend. Victor Michael Collier, 44, was pronounced dead at the Howard County General Hospital after crashing off of an exit ramp off Route 100 on Sunday, March 26, according to Howard County police. Emergency crews were called to the scene around 7:30 a.m. after it was reported that Collier had run off the roadway and struck several trees near the exit ramp to Route 104. Police Search For Suspect Vehicle After Hit And Run Kills Pedestrian Police are investigating a hit and run that killed a pedestrian overnight in Laurel, authorities say. The victim was reportedly struck by a Ford Explorer in the 9600 block of Washington Boulevard around 10:45 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15, according to Howard County police. The man was rushed to the Howard County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Washington Boulevard was closed in both directions for approximately two and a half hours. Ivan Claude Merrill Jr., 59, reportedly lost control of the vehicle on Route 1 near Route 32, landing in a wooded drainage area around 10:41 a.m., Monday, Aug. 29, according to Howard County police. Police agencies in Maryland are sounding the alarms as they seek the public’s assistance in tracking down a 38-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen in more than a week. An alert was issued by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office for Kristin Berger, who was last seen on Monday, Aug. 15 at the Howard County General Hospital. Berger was described as being 5-foot-8, weighing an estimated 150 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. It is unknown what she was last wearing.
