The District man who ambushed and killed his childhood friend following an argument will spend years behind bars, authorities announced. Jean Paul Kearney, 36, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder and other offenses in connection to the April 2021 shooting death of Dontra Harris outside of a DC apartment building.
