Body Of Alexandria Man Found Laying In District Heights Street

Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information in connection to the fatal shooting of an Alexandria man, authorities announced.

The body of Richard Bentley, 33, was found laying in the 6200 block of Atwood Street in District Heights in the early morning hours of Monday, March 20 after Prince George's County Police were called to assist with a welfare check.

Police say that Bentley's body was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives are currently working to identify a suspect and motive for the crime, and are asking anyone with information to contact authorities immediately at 301-516-2512.
