Man Critical After Shooting In Anne Arundel County: Police
A man was left with life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Anne Arundel County on Monday evening, March 18, police said. Officers were patrolling near the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn around 6:05 p.m. when they were approached by the 31-year-old victim, who had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound to the torso. A follow-up investigation found that the victim was shot by a male wearing dark clothing in front of a residence in the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive. A teenage girl has been arrested after being accused of murdering a 20-year-old Severn man in August 2022, authorities announced. On Tuesday, March 14, officers announced that Vanae Lewis, 18, has been identified as the primary suspect believed to be responsible for the murder of 20-year-old Naim Rashid Addison last year, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. A 20-year-old Baltimore man prohibited from having a gun was arrested after hiding a firearm in his vehicle, authorities say. According to Anne Arundel County Police investigators, Kahlil Corey Jones, 20, was pulled over for an equipment violation in the area of Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court in Severn in the early evening of Wednesday, Feb. 1. Murder Suspect At Large After Fatal Maryland Shooting: Police
A young Severn man has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in Anne Arundel County, authorities say. Naim Rashid Addison, 20, was shot while driving a tan 2008 Honda Civic in the area of Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court around 8:40 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21, according to Anne Arundel County police.
