School Bus Lands In Community Garden After Crash With SUV In Maryland A school bus crashed through a fence and into a community garden in Montgomery County, officials say. Five people were injured in a collision involving an SUV and school bus before 8 a.m. on Monday, May 20, a Montgomery County Fire and EMS spokesperson said. The crash was reported in the area of Fenton Street and Philadelphia Avenue in Silver Spring. Following the crash, the bus wound up approximately 10 feet off the roadway into a nearby garden, damaging the fence, while the SUV landed in the median. Footage Of Silver Spring Robbery Released Montgomery County police have released footage of a robbery in downtown Silver Spring, and are asking the public's help identifying the alleged suspect. Officers were called to the Home Court store in the 900 block of Philadephia Avenue on a report of a robbery around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 14, police said. Police say it began when the victim left the store and walked towards his vehicle to get a pair of shoes, police said.
