Maryland Money Man Admits To $1.8M Laundering Conspiracy Involving Mexican Cartel: Feds A Maryland man who laundered nearly $2 million in drug money for a purported member of a Mexican cartel is facing decades in prison after copping to the crime, federal authorities announced. Glen Burnie resident Gerrod Davis, 46, pleaded guilty this week to his role in a conspiracy to launder money produced by drug sales throughout the region over the course of nearly a year.
