Blade Seized From 9-Year-Old Who Threatened Classmate At Waldorf Elementary School: Sheriff A potentially tragic situation at a Charles County elementary school was avoided when administrators were able to take a blade from a child who had threatened to harm a fellow student. On Tuesday, Feb. 28, students at Diggs Elementary School in Waldorf notified school staff members that a 9-year-old student was in possession of a knife after making threats toward another member of his class.
