Firefighters doused a boat blaze at a marina in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday morning, April 2. The fire broke out on a boat that was tied to the end of a pier at a marina on the 7500 block of Brightwater Beach Rd. in Glen Burnie shortly before 11:15 a.m., the Anne Arundel Fire Department said. Firefighters began to douse the blaze while searching the vessel for possible occupants living aboard. One person was hospitalized early on Wednesday morning in St. Mary's County after a man assaulted two people inside a Lexington Park home before fleeing the area. A pedestrian involved in a hit-and-run crash more than two months ago has died from his injuries, police said. Tyrone Tyson, 82, was hospitalized after being struck by a driver while crossing the road near Annapolis Road and 68th Avenue in Landover Hills on Thursday, Jan. 25, PGPD said.
