New details have been released by police in Montgomery County after a fatal shooting inside the Wheaton Metro Station overnight left a teen dead. Tennyson Vaughn Leslie, Jr., 18, of Greenbelt, has been identified as the person who was struck and killed shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 at the station on Georgia Avenue. Person Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Found Underneath Train At Wheaton Metro Station
A victim suffered serious injuries after being found underneath a train on the tracks at the Wheaton Metro Station, authorities say. The adult victim was reported underneath the train around 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. The patient was able to be extracted from the tracks and rushed to a hospital with reportedly serious injuries. Details surrounding the patient's current condition and extent of the injuries, or what led to the incident were not immediately available.
