A man has died after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Prince George's County, authorities say. Officers responded to the scene after reports of a pedestrian collision around 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Sheriff Road, according to Prince George's County police. An off-duty Metropolitan Police officer was critically injured after being struck by a car in a Maryland parking lot, officials said. At approximately 10:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, a driver struck the officer in the 10500 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway in Bowie, according to a spokesperson from the Prince George’s County Police Department. A massive reward is being offered in connection to the shooting of an elderly woman in Lanham, authorities say. Deborah Armstrong, 71, has been identified as the victim in the shooting that occurred shortly after 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18 in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Business Parkway, according to Prince George's County police.
