Maryland Boy Attacked By Shark During Expedition At Bahamas Resort: Police A 10-year-old child was bitten by a shark while visiting the Bahamas with his family, authorities announced. The Royal Bahamas Police Department issued an alert on Monday advising that the boy was bitten at around 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15 during an expedition.  Male child reportedly bitten by shark.
